Football NSW would like to invite all coaches, volunteers and parents to participate in the ‘Working with Special Needs Kids’ Interactive Workshop on Monday 17th June at Valentine Sports, Glenwood.
The workshop will provide coaches and all involved with AWD football the necessary skills to lead a special needs program or team.
Conducted by Football Federation Australia National Community Coach Education Manager, Norm Boardman, the workshop is provided FREE of charge and open to all interested parties that would like to get a grasp on the concept of working with children with special needs.
The workshop will be held at Valentine Sports Park between 6:30pm – 8:30pm Monday 17th June.
The ‘Working with Special Needs Kids’ Interactive Workshop coincides with the Football4all Gala Day – a Football NSW initiative introduced in 2009, aiming at giving people with a disability or special need an avenue to enjoy a wonderful day with family and friends. The 2013 Football4all Gala Day kicks off Sunday 23rd June at Valentine Sports Park.
