North West Sydney Women’s Football Association (NWSWF) with the support of the City of Ryde is continuing a special needs football program in 2015.
The inclusive football program “PINK” is for women & girls with specific needs and welcomes players of all abilities.
This program aims to provide an opportunity for females in the Sydney metropolitan region who have a physical, intellectual and/or developmental disability to participate in the sport of football.
The PINK Football4All team will have the opportunity to learn football skills, make new friends and play other NWSWF teams in a modified format.
The coaches will ensure that the program is tailored to meet the specific needs of players.
NWSWF has always created an environment that enables players to join in to the fullest of their abilities in the spirit of inclusion, tolerance and fair play. The program commenced last season with 12 players registering from various localities and received positive feedback from all involved.
