Sydney Western Schools stage Championships at VSP

Football fever was certainly the theme for eleven aspiring Boys Primary schools from Western Sydney as they competed in the Western Schools Sporting Association Football Championships at Valentine Sports Park on Monday.

Goals galore as well as great free flowing football was evident as over 180 primary school boys battled it out for the coveted Championship and the chance to be crowned the best Boys Primary school in Western Sydney.

These championships were used for team selectors who were on hand, scouting young promising players for the official SWSSA representative team set to compete against other NSW District Sport Associations in a State wide competition.

Players, coaches, teachers, parents and officials were impressed with the Valentine Sports Park precinct as the weather cleared up also with the Championships heralded a success.
