CHS Firsts Girls Win Another All Schools Tournament
The NSW All Schools Tournament was played at Valentine Sports Park on 15th and 16th June.
The annual tournament features squads from Combined High Schools (two teams), Combined Independent Schools and Combined Catholic Colleges for both boys and girls.
The purpose of the tournament is to select boys and girls squads to represent all New South Wales schools at the School Sport Australia 19 Years and Under National Championships.
This year has more significance than most because the squads will, at the same time, be participating in the Pacific Schools Games in Adelaide during November 2015.
Combined Independent Schools won the Boys tournament this year for the first time since 2005. The Girls tournament was won by Combined High Schools 1sts, their eighteenth victory in 23 years.
