2017 Community Building Partnership – OPEN

PBL_0959_01

Applications for the 2017 Community Building Partnerships program opens at 9am on Monday 26 June 2017.

Football clubs are encouraged and urged to apply for funding to improve community football facilities at their respective grounds via the Community Building Partnership program.

Facilities are recognised as a key factor in keeping and attracting players by providing spaces that not only enable play, but also inspire people to play. Current trends in relation to facilities go some way to highlight the urgent support required to continue to provide for the people of NSW.

Applications for infrastructure projects that focus on building a stronger, connected and healthy community are encouraged. Projects must be for:

·         Construction of a new community infrastructure; or

·         Building/repairing/refurbishing community infrastructure; or

·         Capital equipment with a minimum individual asset value of $2,500

This is a fantastic opportunity for clubs, zones and associations to build, upgrade and repair facilities such as:

·         Floodlights

·         Drainage/irrigation systems

·         Amenity buildings and

·         Other vital infrastructure for your club

Clubs MUST read the entire Program Guidelines before they commence an application.

Applications close on Wednesday 9 August, 2017 at 5pm.

Each NSW state electorate will have an allocation of $300,000 available. Contact your state member of parliament NOW to discuss your project.

Ensure that your local council is aware of your project plans as well so that all parties can collaborate.

If you require some guidance or assistance with your application, please don’t hesitate to contact the Facilities and Advocacy Unit on 1300 213 771 or visit the Football Facilities website,www.footballfacilities.com.au and view the fantastic Facility Guides on offer.
