The All Schools Football Tournament is played between Combined Catholic Colleges (CCC), Combined High Schools (CHS), and Combined Independent Schools (CIS); again, in 2022, the tournament produced football of a very high standard.

The 19 Years and Under Boys championship was won by CHS1, the team remaining unbeaten in the tournament.

Two NSW Boys All Schools squads were selected to play in a series of games against other states at Valentine Park on 18th and 19th August.

The 18 Years and Under Girls Championship was won by CIS. This is only the third occasion that CHS has been denied victory in this championship.

The selected NSW Girls All Schools squad will now play in the School Sport Australia (SSA) National Football Championships at Valentine Park from 11th September to the 16th of September.

In addition to the two championships above, selection trials were held to select a 16 Years and Under Boys squad to also compete in the SSA National Football Championships in September.

The 19s Boys and 18s Girls CHS teams competing at the All Schools Tournament were selected at the two NSWCHS State Football Championships in May this year. For the first time, both Boys and Girls Championships were held at the same venue (Proctor Park, Bathurst), over the same three days. Sydney West won the Boys’ championship, and Sydney South West were successful in the Girl’s championship.
