Volunteer Spotlight: Karen Morris

A proud football mum to two children, Karen Morris has been a volunteer warrior for Central Coast Football club Doyalson Wyee SC for the past fifteen years.

A well-known figure in the local Central Coast football community, Karen is and has been the club Secretary and Registrar for the past ten seasons as well as managing the club’s Under 35s side.

“In her role as Club Secretary and Club Registrar, Karen takes these positions to the next level,” said Doyalson Wyee SC President Kerry Sweetnam.

“As you can imagine, registrars for any club at the beginning of a season can be very stressful but Karen has a process and manages to get all the players into their teams as directed by the Junior Reps and Technical Director.

“Karen also sorts out our photos for the club, scheduling all teams as well as organises the Junior Gala Day we run yearly.

“Karen is always there to help the club, players, supporters and will always put them first when she is around.”

Well done Karen, your passion, love and commitment to the sport of football is and has been for there to be seen by all.
