Upcoming C and B Diploma Courses
Registrations are still open for three C Diploma courses and one B Diploma course to commence in March.
The main focus of the required coaching competency on the ‘C’ Diploma is on the technical aspects of the game, which includes teaching the techniques of passing, receiving, striking the ball and running with the ball, along with defending techniques to regain possession.
The required technical knowledge will be supported with an understanding of The Principles of Play and the fundamentals of coaching. Participants will be introduced to the concept of teaching behaviour in different types of practice methods as part of the education program, but also to provide insight into the ‘B’ Diploma.
The ‘C’ Diploma is a minimum of 60 hours in duration and will be delivered with face to face learning with supplementary online learning.
Football Australia has recently moved learning platforms to etrainu. If this is your first time accessing the platform, you will need to complete a couple of steps.

2. After completing Step 1, you will need to wait 3-4 hours before being able to use the etrainu link here below to access the new learning platform. Please ensure you log in as a ‘Football Australia Learner’.

B Diploma Courses
The Football Australia/AFC B Diploma is aimed at coaches working with players who are able to play football at a standard where they can confidently pass and receive the ball and scan for information, aged approximately twelve (12) years of age and above. The focus of the course is on teaching players how to use techniques and combine with each other to apply the principles of attack when the team is in possession and the principles of defence when the team is out of possession. Coaches are assessed while coaching players in opposed practices and small sided games up to 8 vs 8.
