Get involved with the 2024 Heart Health Round today
With Heart Health Round ready to go live for the second successive season, there’s still time for Clubs and Associations to ‘Make it Red’ from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th April 2024.
Football NSW is encouraging Clubs and Associations to get involved with this round.
An initiative of the Heartbeat of Football Foundation, the national awareness campaign aims to turn sporting grounds across Australia RED for heart disease and sudden cardiac arrest.
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading single cause of disease burden and death in Australia (both Men & Women).
The good news is it is largely preventable, as many of its risk factors are modifiable.
Every dollar donated will help fund research, education, and preventative programs that will help save lives.
Make it Red seeks to:
- raise awareness about heart health issues,
- encourage people to make positive health choices; and
- raise funds to support life-saving heart research.
