Female Football Week Awards
The Female Football Week Awards provide a valuable opportunity to recognise and celebrate the significant contributions of women and girls in football, highlighting the vital role they play in all aspects of the game. Now is the time to celebrate the exceptional female champions within your club by nominating them for one of the following categories:
- Female Player of the Year
- Female Coach of the Year
- Female Referee of the Year
- Female Volunteer of the Year
- Community Champion of the Year
Each category winner will receive a prize and will be nominated as Football NSW’s representative for the National Female Football Week Awards.
Nominations close 5pm Friday 18th April 2025.
Award Criteria
To ensure your nominations accurately capture the nominee’s contributions to the female football space, please refer to the criteria below, which align with the national awards guidelines:
- Females that have exhibited significant behaviours of highly engaged motivated and respected members of the affiliated community football club.
- Females that are not only passionate about one of the categories (coaching refereeing, playing and volunteering), but also look to be a leader in this space, encouraging and inspiring those around them.
- Females that support the underrepresented, displayed through their dedication of time, skill and commitment to achieving within this space.
- Females that have displayed efforts of leadership or mentoring to other members of the community football club within the realm of coaching/refereeing/playing and volunteering.
- Community Football club members who have demonstrated commitment to the values of fairness, integrity, inclusion and respect.
