Special Needs is “Football 4 All”
Following on from the success of the first FNSW special needs meeting in April, last night’s forum was well attended with representatives from Special Olympics, CP Football, Recreation Illawarra and NSW Department of Sport & Recreation and Football Federation Australia joining the many special needs coordinators, clubs and associations from across NSW.
As well as providing expert input for the upcoming Gala Day and learning more about Coaching Athletes with a Disability, one of the primary purposes of the forum was to select a name for the special needs group of Football NSW and it was without any hesitation that the name “Football 4 All” was voted as the most appropriate in representing this growing part of the membership.
With its own new identity now in place planning for the Football 4 All Gala Day will be gaining momentum for later in the year.
