NSW Paralympic 7-A Side Football Team awarded NSW Sports Federation Award
The NSW team won the 2009 Paralympic 7-A Side Football Championships undefeated, including defeating Queensland in the final 8-0.
Eight of these players were then selected to represent Australia at the 2009 ARAFURA Games held in Darwin finishing with Silver.
Nine players from the NSW squad represented Australia at the 2009 CPISRA International Championships at which Australia finished 8th and qualified for the 2011 World Championships.
