All that remains is to discover which teams will be crowned Champions at the end of the finals series.
Congratulations go to all teams for their individual and collective contributions to making this another successful and highly competitive season in which the standard of play has been incredibly high.
As usual, The Youth League Report will continue throughout the finals series and bring you detailed reports of the matches played. Then, in the week after the Grand Finals, we will look back on the season and review the performances of the clubs and the teams.
Overview
The clash between Marconi Stallions and Sydney Olympic was washed out and may be rescheduled for early in this week.
Blacktown City must have been very pleased indeed to have gone home from Bankstown City with fifteen points in their pockets after they had taken twelve points the first time around.
West Sydney Berries showed a profit of ten points from their visit to Bonnyrigg White Eagles but that was not quite as good as the first round encounter when the Berries grabbed a dozen points.
Sutherland Sharks bagged all fifteen points from their home matches against Rockdale City Suns and that repeated the first round outcome for the lads from the Shire.
Manly United took eight points home with them after visiting Sydney United and that was a slightly different result to the first round when Manly took eleven points.
APIA Leichhardt Tigers and South Coast Wolves shared the spoils at seven points apiece and that was a big turnaround from the first round when the Wolves earned twelve points.
