Looking to attract people involved in the club from the past, the western Sydney based club is also interested in attracting any old photos, films or memorabilia from past players, parents and committee members.
?We are really looking forward to getting life members turn up to this big occasion,? said Prospect United Club President, Brian Vella.
?It?s these past life members that have got the club to where it is and we want to recognize their amazing efforts while nominating a new life member.
?It?s also important that we accumulate as much photos and memorabilia as possible since we are putting together a slideshow presentation to celebrate this landmark anniversary,? he added.
The junior presentation, scheduled for Sunday 14th November, will include jumping castles, dodgem cars, tea cups, giant slides, popcorn machines, snow cones, a full canteen menu and much more to keep both parents and kids entertained.
Rooball presentations start at 1pm before the graded teams take the stand two hours later. Early bird rates go for $5 for players and $15 for parents and guests while $20 is the entry pass on the day. Fees will allow unlimited access to all rides from 2pm ? 7pm as well as the fireworks show scheduled for an 8:30pm start.
The junior presentation will be held at William Lawson Reserve, Myrtle St, Prospect. Those interested should contact Trish Wright on 0417 683 831 by October 14th.
The senior presentation, which is being hyped as a night out more than a typical presentation, will be held at Blacktown RSL Auditorium (Second Ave, Blacktown) from 6:30pm to midnight on Saturday 20th November.
Guests can expect entertainment and good food with hypnotist, Steven Spellmaster, taking centre stage after a delicious three course meal. With comedians and celebrity impersonators yet to be confirmed, gifts, auctions and award presentations have been given the green light.
The cost for players and coaches is $50 with guests having to pay $60 by October 20th. Any questions should be directed to Melissa McArthy who can be reached on 0423 502 423.
First grade player, Michael Viera, believes this is one celebration no one should miss out on.
?The committee members have designed the night to be entertaining and one which is worth attending,? said Viera.
?It?s not going to be your normal presentation dinner, but instead a night filled with fun, laughter, and prizes,? he added.
With 43 teams under its belt, ?The Reds?and Brian Vella are consistently looking towards the future.
?Not only is the club well run and family oriented, it has ambitions to succeed and move forward,? said Vella.
?Young players can see this ambition and hopefully in the near future we [Prospect United] can get promotion to First Division and move on from there.
?It?s celebrations such as this one that drives clubs like ours and we certainly hope to see lots of people turn up and help make it a memorable night,? added Vella.
