2011 Maso Cup ready for kick-off

The tournament will be played on 28, 29 and 30 January 2011 with games being played at the new Ilinden Sports Centre and Jensen Park.
The year a record number of clubs were invited to participate including Preston Lions FC [VIC], Altona Magic [VIC], Arncliffe Scots [SYD], Broadmeadow Magic [NCL], Coniston Lions [WLG], Cringila Lions [WLG], Newcastle Suns FC [NCL], Stirling Lions FC [WA], Sydneham Park SC [VIC], Wollongong United [WLG], Yagoona Lions [SYD], Geelong [VIC], Keilor Wolves FC [VIC], Noble Park [VIC], Plenty Valley Lions [VIC], Lalor United Sloga [VIC], Pascoe Vale Pelister [VIC], Sherpaton SC [VIC] and Queenbeyan FC [NSW].

Rules:   Teams to receive 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw; Teams on equal points are to be separated by goal difference; In the event. the teams share the same goal difference a penalty shoot out will be held to decide the team to advance to the finals; Halftime: 5 mins in duration with players to remain on field; Unlimited substitutions ? play not to stop for substitutions except for finals games; In the event of a draw in semi finals or finals a penalty shoot-out will decide the winners
