Queensland Flood Relief Fundraiser ready for kick-off this Sunday

Playing on the day will be the Macarthur Metro teams vs Granville District, Camden Tigers vs Macarthur Rams Youth league U-13-U18, Camden Tigers State League 1sts & 20?s vs Springwood FC and Camden Tigers M-League squads.
The clubs have been in contact with Toowoomba Football and they have around 7 clubs affected by the floods in varying degrees. These range from damage to some equipment to the loss of everything including kits, canteen equipment, photocopiers, posts, training equipment and much more.  On top of this, their members have in a lot of cases lost everything they own including their boots, shin pads and clothing. 
The clubs aim is to provide a day where money will be raised via a Gold Coin Entry, Raffles, Food etc and the donation of boots, clothing and any other equipment which can be sent to Toowoomba Soccer.  This can all then be distributed as required by them to their clubs in the hope of getting them back up and running for season 2011.
The clubs are hoping that their efforts with support from the football community can get the kids back out onto the field for 2011 so that they can have some fun in what are difficult times.  These are close knit communities where they have lost not only their homes and belongings but also family and friends.
