FNSWportcolpos

Football NSW currently manages the P22 Football program which coaches hundreds of children in various regions of NSW.
While building on these programs, the Skills Acquisition Program (SAP) is seeking suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coaches to be involved for the upcoming season.
The objective of the Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) nationally is to identify and assemble the most talented Australian 9-13 year old boys and girls in elite programs in order to teach them perfect functional game skills. There are currently SAP programs underway or beginning in every State and Territory.
The successful applicants will work closely with the State Technical Director to ensure a professional and consistent approach to the program and its adherence to the National Curriculum.
The positions will also have a strong responsibility for working with local clubs and associations as well as educating and mentoring other coaches.
We are looking for current P22 coaches as well as other coaches in the football community to apply.
Applicants must have a minimum FFA/AFC C Licence coaching accreditation (Experienced coaches without a C Licence may be considered if they able to demonstrate and substantiate extensive expertise and experience in coaching elite youth. Successful applicants who do not hold a C Licence must attend and pass the next available Sydney-based C Licence course)
As the positions will primarily be working with elite players in the Skill Acquisition Phase of youth development, a working knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum would be required.
Football NSW will seek to finalise coaching appointments before the end of August 2011.
All interested parties should send their official CV?s to Football NSW State Technical Director Alex Tobin via email on alext@footballnsw.com.au
