Having beaten Barker College 4-1 in a penalty shoot-out, after a 1-1 result at the end of extra time, they claimed the Independent School?s (ISC) Cup final.
Trinity then played Combined Catholic Colleges (CCC) champions, Francis  Xavier College to claim the Non-Government School?s Final with an emphatic 4-1 victory.
The circumstances of the following forfeit victory over Hills Sports High in the NSW All Schools Cup, due to a communication breakdown amongst the organisers, was a disappointing way to win the title.
Nevertheless, the Trinity Grammar School players should be praised for their efforts as the Team was thoroughly capable of winning this prized status and they now join Knox Grammar who beat Hills Sports High in 2009 as the 2nd independent School to win this trophy.
With the likes of new Sydney FC recruit Jason Madonis in their squad next season, along with a number of core players remaining next year, Trinity Grammar School is looking forward to defending their tile in 2012.
