Grade 14
The stage is set for a right royal battle for positions throughout the second half of the competition as there are only seven points separating the top three teams and four points separating the next five teams with the ninth placed team only two points further adrift. That should be enough to keep the coaches and the players on their toes for the remaining weeks and we should expect the quality of play to step up at least a notch or two.

There are only four points separating the top six teams at the midway stage and it must be said that the next four teams will still be holding onto some hope of reaching the play-offs at the end of the competition. the next few weeks will have everyone closely watching every result from every game and that may well continue to be the case right up to the final whistle at the end of Round 22.
Manly United have held onto the competition lead despite their match being washed out but their scheduled opponent, Sydney Olympic, have dropped back two places to tenth while second placed Blacktown City missed the opportunity to take the leading role when they were beaten 1-0 by Bonnyrigg White Eagles who have been promoted one place to eighth.
