Next weekend we will take the opportunity to look back on what has happened and take a peek at what may happen over the coming weeks as we rapidly approach the finals series.
Club Championship
Sydney University took thirteen points from Fraser Park when the clubs met in the first round but it was a very different story this time around as Fraser Park claimed seven points from the day when four of the matches were draws. Uni have retained their place at the top of the table and Fraser Park have moved up one place to fourth. In a Round 16 catch-up fixture Fraser Park split the points at seven apiece with Dulwich Hill.
Central Coast Mariners earned twelve points from their first round encounter with Spirit FC and they repeated the dose this week when they stuffed another dozen points into their collective pockets. That leaves the Mariners in second spot while Spirit have slipped back one place to fifth.
When they met in the first round Macarthur Rams grabbed ten points from the clash with Western NSW Mariners but on this occasion the clubs shared the spoils at seven points apiece. Western have remained at third and the Rams are still sixth.
Mounties Wanderers collected ten points from their first round meeting with Bankstown City Lions but this time the Lions really turned the tables when they earned ten points from the fixture. The Wanderers have held onto seventh spot and the Lions have remained at twelfth.
Granville Rage bagged ten points last time they faced Northern Tigers and this week Rage added another eight points to their total to remain at eighth while the Tigers are still placed ninth.
Bankstown Berries and Dulwich Hill had split the first round points at seven apiece but this time the Berries claimed ten of the available points, an outcome that has left the clubs at eleventh and tenth respectively.
Grade 13
Dulwich Hill were 5-0 winners when the last faced Bankstown Berries and they completed the double with a 4-0 victory this week. In a Round 16 catch-up match Dulwich Hill added three more points to their tally when they defeated Fraser Park 2-0. That has put Dully at the top of the table and left the Berries in thirteenth position.
Sydney University claimed the first round points with a 6-2 result when they met Fraser Park in the first round but this week their clash ended in a scoreless draw, resulting in Uni dropping back to second spot and leaving Fraser Park at eleventh.
Central Coast Mariners shaded Spirit FC with a 2-1 scoreline when they met last time around and the Mariners completed the double this week with a 3-0 result to remain at third and Spirit stayed at seventh.

Macarthur Rams had edged out Western NSW Mariners with a 1-0 first round success but on this occasion the match was locked up at 0-0 when the final whistle sounded. That has left the Rams at fourth and Western at sixth.
Mounties Wanderers and Bankstown City Lions battled out a thrilling 3-3 draw last time the teams saw each other but this time the Wanderers took all the points when they were 2-0 winners, an outcome that has left the at fifth and the Lions in tenth position.
Granville Rage came up with a 1-0 win in their first round match against Northern Tigers but the teams shared the spoils this week when their clash ended at 1-1. Rage held onto eighth place and the Tigers are still twelfth.
Grade 14

Sydney University posted a very solid 5-0 result when they faced Fraser Park in the first round but it was a different story when they met this week as their match ended in a 2-2 draw. Uni have retained the top spot on the competition table and Fraser Park remained at seventh. In a Round 16 catch-up match Fraser Park drew 1-1 with Dulwich Hill.
Central Coast Mariners produced a 4-2 victory last time they saw Spirit FC and they went on to complete the double with a 5-1 result this time around. The Mariners are in second spot and Spirit have dropped back one place to eleventh.
Western NSW Mariners suffered a 3-2 loss when they last played against Macarthur Rams but the ledger was squared this time when Western came up with a 4-0 win. Western have stayed in third position and the Rams are still placed fourth.

Grade 15

Uni have remained at the top of the table and Fraser Park have climbed one place up the table to fourth. In a Round 16 catch-up match Fraser Park produced a 5-1 victory over Dulwich Hill. 

Central Coast Mariners defeated Spirit FC by the odd goal in five when the teams faced off in the first round and they completed the double this week with a 2-0 result to remain at second while Spirit are placed eighth. Spirit dominated possession in the first half but the failed to capitalise on that advantage. On one of their rare first half attacks Sammy Pirrottina scored his first goal of the season when he made the most of a cross from Lachlan Wilkinson to give Central Coast the lead just four minutes before the interval. The Mariners were dominant throughout the second stanza and in the 60th minute a cross from Mitchell Legge was converted into a goal by Sam Dooley and that proved to be enough. Reportedly, the Spirit goalkeeper was in superb form and denied the Mariners a larger win.

Fraser Park had suffered a 1-0 first round loss to Sydney University and this week the teams split the points when the battled out a scoreless draw. Fraser Park have remained at second and Uni are still fourth. In a Round 16 catch-up match Fraser Park registered a 1-0 win over Dulwich Hill.
Northern Tigers had shaded Granville Rage with a 3-2 win in the first round and the Tigers completed the double when they were 3-1 winners this time around. That has caused the Tigers to climb two places up the ladder to third and left Rage at seventh.
Mounties Wanderers had edged out Bankstown City Lions with a win by the odd goal in five last time they met but the lions squared the ledger this week when they came up with a 1-0 success. The Wanderers held onto sixth spot while the Lions are placed ninth.
