Vale – Matthew Marc Schuthof

Matt played soccer for many years with Wakehurst Soccer Club, refereed for a short time as a junior, and recently played in the Blue Mountains, and Bomaderry.
Matthew was loved and adored as a husband to Zoe, a brother, a son and a friend by many in the community. In particular, he has many friends throughout the football community. His wider work in the community touched many lives and he will be sadly missed by all.
Zoe herself has strong connections in the football community having played for Robertson-Burrawang Rovers Soccer Club, and FNSW Southern Branch and Macarthur Rams in Women’s Super League and Women’s Premier League.  She played at the NSW state titles, and represented NSW Country at the Nationals.
The Highlands Soccer Association on behalf of the many friends within the football community extends its sympathies to Matthew’s family.
