Sutherland Shire Football Association set for Senior Womens Gala Day

The Sutherland Shire Football Association (SSFA) will hold its inaugural Senior Women’s A Game Day on Sunday 21st April at Seymour Shaw Park Miranda.

The day will feature five high quality games as the best girls club teams in our Association will compete for honours in arguably the most competitive grassroots women’s football league in Australia.

The Sutherland Shire Football Association is the largest grassroots sporting association of any code in Australia with over 5,000 registered female players in 2013.

With the continued success of the Matildas, and Sydney FC winning the Westfields W-League, this initiative is a wonderful opportunity to watch some of the best female players in the Sutherland Shire demonstrating their skills and techniques.
