Sutherland Shire to Futsalroos star

Sutherland Shire Futsal star Jordan Guerreiro has won selection in the Futsalroos squad set to represent Australia in the ASEAN Futsal Championships in Malaysia.

It was Guerreiro’s first call up in the Green and Gold jersey as Jordan commenced playing the sport of Futsal as a 10 year old at local level before moving up the ranks playing in the FNSW Futsal State League at the age of 14 for the Sutherland Shire Futsal Association.

The talented youngster also took part in the hummel F-League with the East Coast Heat Futsal Club since the competition’s inception and has been one of the standout players throughout the past several seasons.

Sutherland Shire Futsal were proud of Guerreiro’s efforts as they praised his selection into the Futsalroos squad.

 “As a Futsal family we’re very proud of Jordan’s achievement.

“Getting to this level is a testament to his passion, commitment and effort in supporting the Club and the Sport.

“We extend our sincere thanks to the East Coast Heat Futsal Club for continuing the pathway for players that aspire to reach this level”, said a Sutherland Shire Futsal spokesperson.
