NSW Asian Cup Legacy Fund 2015 CLOSING SOON!

The NSW Asian Cup 2015 Legacy Fund is in its final weeks with Round 1 closing on Friday 24 February, 2017 at 5pm.

The time is now for clubs and associations to grab themselves a piece of the $4 million on offer. The Fund aims to improve football facilities for a variety of benefits including increasing participation, improving safety and security, assisting in building stronger communities through football and improving the overall football experience for all stakeholders.

How much funding is available?

There is a maximum funding contribution of $150,000 per project. The minimum amount an applicant can apply for is $50,000.

Applicants must contribute 50% or more of the funding required for the project, which could include contributions from the local council or other grants, voluntary labour or donated materials.

What types of Projects are eligible for funding?

The Fund can be used for all community football facility development or enhancement. Funds can be used to upgrade existing pitches, amenities or facilities, or for the development and construction of new pitches, amenities or facilities.

Some examples, include; drainage, irrigation or resurfacing, seating, canteens, floodlighting, fencing, change rooms, match official amenities or storage spaces.
