PlayStation4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s 3 outfit Rydalmere Lions FC will be embarking on a special pre-season trip when they head off to Singapore on the 6th of February to partake in three friendly matches against Geylang United’s senior and reserve teams as well as the Singapore Under 23’s side.

The tour commences on the 6th of February with matches organised against Geylang’s reserve team on the 7th followed by the clash against the senior side who were involved in last season’s AFC Asian Champions League on the 9th before finishing up with a match against the Under 23’s of Singapore on the 11th.

Rydalmere Lions FC’s Tony Basha was eagerly anticipating this trip that will see a squad of 22 players take in the experience of playing against professional opposition with the club to also feature twelve Under 20s youngsters as part of the travelling squad.

“Rydalmere Lions FC want to be able to expose our players to professional clubs whenever possible and this is certainly an ideal opportunity to do just that.

“This experience will be fantastic for team bonding as well as getting our 2017 year underway.

“I believe we have some talented players at the club but they need to be given the opportunity to test themselves against the best and this trip will prove just that.”
