SAP Gala Day celebrated at Goulburn

Teams from across Regional NSW plus Capital Football’s Gunghalin FC attended a Football NSW SAP Regional Gala Day on Sunday 10th of March at Cookbundoon Sporting Complex, Goulburn.

Teams from Southern NSW (including Southern Tablelands and Far South Coast), Western NSW, Riverina (Wagga Wagga, South West Slopes) played matches across Under 9/10/11/12 Boys and Under 10/12 Girls categories.

Football NSW Regional Development Manager Andrew Fearnley stated his delight with the SAP program reaching out to regional areas.

“It was a great opportunity for the players to come together across the various SAP programs, and have matches against teams that they wouldn’t normally experience.

“It was also beneficial to see the level of the players and the approach to SAP from the many teams and coaches”.

Football NSW will look to hold further regional Gala days so watch this space.
