Round 5 of the FFA Cup takes centre stage as Wednesday 24th April will feature three matches with clubs hoping they can secure a place into the latter stages of the knockout competition.

Arguably the talk of the evening will be at Jonas Bradley Park when local Blacktown District Soccer Football Association side Ponds FC take on the might of NPL NSW Men’s powerhouse side Marconi Stallions at 7:30pm.

An all NPL 2 NSW Men’s affair will feature at Northbridge Oval as North Shore Mariners face the Northern Tigers in a Northern Suburbs derby at 6:30pm while at Cromer Park, Illawarra Premier League outfit Coniston FC make the long trek to face NPL NSW Men’s side Manly United at 8pm.

Football NSW are currently confirming venues with clubs to finalise Round 5 of the knockout competition but there are six matches that have been penned in for Wednesday 1st of May.

Hakoah Sydney City East take on the Western NSW Mariners at Hensley Athletic Field (7:30pm), Coledale Waves play the Wollongong Wolves in a South Coast derby at Ian McClennan Park (7:30pm), Sydney Olympic take on Stanmore Hawkes at Peter Moore Field (7:30pm), Sydney University will challenge Manly Football Association giantkillers Dee Why at the Sydney University Football Grounds (8pm) and Summerhays Park will play host to an all-association battle with Hazelbrook Hawks taking on Killarney District SC at 7:30pm.

There are still two outstanding round 4 FFA Cup fixtures and they both take place on Wednesday 1st of May at Pluim Park with Terrigal United facing Blacktown City and Berkeley Vale taking on APIA Leichhardt Tigers. Both matches will kick off at 7:30pm on respective fields at Pluim.

Football NSW will provide updates on the remaining round 5 FFA Cup fixtures so keep a look out for that.
