Football NSW hosts successful Goalkeeper Course

Football NSW recently held its second successful AFC/FFA Level 1 Goalkeeping Licence at Valentine Sports Park under the watchful eye of Socceroos custodian Tony Franken.  

As many as 12 coaches experienced the FFA’s approach to goalkeeping and goalkeeper coaching first hand from Franken over the duration of the five day course.

Football NSW Coach Development Manager Chris Adams was once again thrilled with the success of the week following on from a huge year in coaching courses within the state.

“This course once more showed the terrific relationship we are forming with Tony and the FFA goalkeeping department as we continue to offer goalkeeper coaches in NSW the opportunity to up-skill themselves and learn from one of the best in the game.”

Football NSW will be working again with Franken in 2020 to deliver another AFC/FFA Level 1 course and also an AFC/FFA level 2 course.
