Now is the time to utilise Football NSW’s Club Facility Project Plan that has proved very beneficial for clubs and associations across NSW since its introduction two years ago.

Compiled by Football NSW, the project plan has been set up to assist football clubs with planning and collating infrastructure projects in preparation for obtaining grant funding.

Football NSW understands that Community sporting clubs across NSW are continually hunting for grant funding to improve infrastructure or services at their club with this project plan paying dividends earning successful grants in upgrading their respective facilities.

With Football activity in NSW currently suspended due to COVID-19, the timeout from the hustle and bustle of running a club on a daily basis has meant that club administrators have the opportunity to see where they can gain much needed grants to up-keep their facilities.

The template is set out into 2 sections, Section 1: Club Information and Section 2: Project Details.

Section 1 is general club information, including contact details, background of the club, general facility information. This data should be readily available for every club, if not, this document (Section 1) will provide clubs with the opportunity to collate this information into one concise document.

Section 2: Project Details is detailed information on a specific infrastructure project that the club is looking to obtain funding for. If a club has multiple infrastructure projects, then Section 2 should be completed for each individual project.

“This template will allow clubs to collect data and information on their specific infrastructure project well in advance of a grant submission” said Manager – Government Relations, Funding and Infrastructure Daniel Ristic.

“By completing the Club Facility Project Plan clubs will have the bulk of most grant applications written and documentation collated, saving the club valuable time when a grant officially opens”.
