Football NSW Institute Program & History of Elite Women’s Football in NSW

Last week marked the first workshop for our Advanced Female Coaches Network.

The coaches were treated to an insight from Nadine Shiels the Player Development Coordinator – Girls at Football NSW and Lisa Warrener the U18’s coach at the Football NSW Institute.

Both coaches provided an insight into how the Football NSW Institute Program operates and how the program benefits its players. Lisa also shared how the Elite Development Programs have evolved in NSW overtime.

Both guest speakers then participated in a Q&A with the Advanced Coaches where they shared stories from the own experiences as coaches and provided answers to questions the coaches asked.

This is just the first workshop of many to come for the Advanced Female Coaches Network.
