Football NSW Country Fustal State Championships is born
Football NSW has announced in conjunction with Wagga Futsal the birth of the Country Fustal State Championships to be held at the EQUEX Multipurpose Sports Centre in Wagga Wagga from Thursday October 6 till Sunday 9th of October 2022.
Over the past three seasons, Futsal has seen a steady growth of interest especially in regional areas which has come to this point of promoting and creating a Football NSW Country Futsal State Championships.
These Championships spanning across four days have been designed to create an opportunity to have regional clubs and players come together to compete and potentially be identified for further opportunities such as representing the Football NSW Futsal State Teams at the Annual National Futsal Championships.
Football NSW Futsal Manager Jordan Guerreiro was excited about the prospect of promoting the inaugural Country Futsal State Championships event later this year.
“It’s certainly exciting times for the sport of Futsal and being able to promote such an event has seen a great interest in competing in these championships.
“With the attendance of country only based players, no NSW metropolitan areas will participate, there will be ample opportunity for players to showcase their talents in front of Football NSW State Futsal Coaches as they prepare to choose squads for the Football Australia National Futsal Championships that will take place in early 2023.”

COST: Entry Costs will be $450 per team, for 4 days of Futsal.
Entries are capped at 6 per age group.
