Football NSW Announces 2023-2026 Strategic Plan

In pursuit of facilitating the best experience for all, Football NSW has released its Strategic Plan for 2023-2026.

The Plan provides a framework for operational objectives and key pillars in pursuit of ambitious growth goals that includes remaining the largest participation sport, becoming the largest team sport for females, as well as achieving 50/50 gender participation.

Football NSW Chair, Gilbert Lorquet, was enthusiastic about football’s future in NSW.

“There is a lot to be excited about over the coming years, headlined by next year’s co-hosting of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023”, he said.

“As we move forward with Football NSW’s Strategic Plan, we remain committed to working alongside Football Australia towards our shared goals for football within the nation’s largest Member Federation.”

The Plan, which involved community consultation along the way, is built around the five key pillars of; Growing Female Football, Supporting Community Football, Enhancing Competitions, Producing Football Talent, and Providing Leadership.
