Football NSW to host Coach Workshops at Proctor Park Challenge

Football NSW will be hosting two coach development opportunities to further support coaches around the 2023 Proctor Park Challenge with CPD Points available.

Commencing on Friday February 10th at the Charles Sturt University, Football NSW will be hosting a Coaching Workshop on Player Development.

The workshop will be led by Young Matildas Coach Leah Blayney and supported by Football NSW Regional Development Manager Andrew Fearnley. Leah will showcase stats from the recent Young Matildas at the Under 20’s World Cup and how to include individual player development into training sessions.

Coaches who have Advanced Coaching Licences or Community Coaching Licences are invited to attend.

Coaches are asked to register for the Workshop Here

Coaches with an advanced coaching licence (A, B, C Licence) will be eligible for 10 CPD Points for attending. There is learning opportunities for community coaches also.

In addition, Football NSW will also be providing an opportunity for Coaches to learn about the Talent Identification Process and Methodology from Football Australia by using the Football Australia Talent ID App. Coaches can also attain CPD Points.

This will be held on Saturday February 11th at Proctor Park.

This will also assist both Football NSW and Football Australia in Talent Identification.

Coaches are asked to attend an 8:30am – 9:00am Introduction Workshop on Saturday at Proctor Park (Bathurst) to understand how to analyse the players and use the App. (There will be an additional 10:00am Workshop for any Coaches involved in Under 17s)

After attending the short workshop, any Coaches who submit 10 Player Assessments will then be eligible for 10 CPD Points.

Coaches are asked to register for the Talent Identification Workshop by Thursday February 9th at 5pm using the below link so we can produce individual log-ins.
