Football NSW assistant referee Alexis Johnson has achieved another milestone in her promising career, making her A-League Women’s debut on Saturday afternoon.

Alexis was appointed to the match between Newcastle Jets and Brisbane Roar at Maitland Regional Sportsground, alongside referee Beth Rattray and fellow Football NSW representatives Maggie Price (assistant referee) and Molly Godsell (fourth official).

Originally from Nepean Referees Group, last year Alexis was named Assistant Referee of the Year for the NPL Women’s NSW competition and selected for the Football Australia Referee Academy.

She becomes the fourth Football NSW official to make their A-League Women’s debut this season after Mikayla Ryan, Isabella Mossin and Molly Godsell.
