“I think we dominated most of the game and got a deserved result. The girls scored two great goals after going down early and never dropped their heads. It has been frustrating this season that the girls are putting in isn’t getting the rewards yet.” said Covic.

For St George FC’s Carlo Tini, he reflected on the performance from the side which didn’t live up to their usual standards:

“I think we were outclassed in the game. Our passing was poor, we kept inviting them into the game then were punished. Before the red cards, I thought we were well in the contest against them.” said Tini.
