Premier Youth League
Round 5
There was some minor movement on each of the tables this week but it was nothing like the topsy-turvy changes of the opening weeks. That could mean that things are settling down or is ita lull before another storm of multiple changes of position? Only time will tell.
Grade 13
Sutherland Sharks retained their place at the top of the table when they posted a handy 4-1 result over Sydney United who have remained in ninth position while Manly United FC and still one point behind the Sharks after they won 1-0 at Wollongong FC who are still eleventh.
Marconi Stallions are in third place after they took all the points when they downed Penrith Nepean United 5-2, a result that was PNU drop back one spot to seventh. Blacktown City Demons retained fourth position with a 3-2 victory over last placed Sydney Olympic.
A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers dropped one place to sixth after they split the points with West Sydney Berries thanks to a 2-2 draw and Macarthur Rams moved from seventh to fifth when they accounted for Bankstown City with a 3-1 scoreline.
Grade 14
Blacktown City Demons remain unbeaten and at the top of the tree with a 2-0 victory over tenth placed Sydney Olympic and Sutherland Sharks stayed at second spot following their 1-0 result over Sydney United who have dropped back one place to ninth.
Marconi Stallions are third after they posted a 3-1 success over fifth placed Penrith Nepean United while West Sydney Berries retained fourth place following their 1-1 draw with seventh placed A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers.
Bankstown City rose one place to eighth thanks to a scoreless draw with eleventh placed Macarthur Rams and Manly United FC jumped up one place to twelfth with their first win of the campaign, a 3-1 result over Wollongong FC who have fallen from twelfth to thirteenth.
Grade 15
Wollongong FC are holding onto the top spot on goal difference following their 2-0 win over fifth placed Manly United FC but Marconi Stallions are applying the pressure from second spot after they were 3-0 winners over eighth placed Penrith Nepean United.
A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers are in third place thanks to their 1-0 win over twelfth placed West Sydney Berries and Blacktown City Demons held onto fourth with a 2-1 success over Sydney Olympic who have fallen from tenth to eleventh.
Sydney United are sixth after they went down 1-0 to Sutherland Sharks who have risen two places to ninth while Bankstown City and Macarthur Rams split the points with a 2-2 draw, leaving them at seventh and tenth respectively.
Grade 16
Manly United FC are still three points clear at the top of the table after they claimed the points with a 2-1 victory over Wollongong FC who have dropped back a place to tenth while second placed A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers defeated West Sydney Berries with a 5-2 scoreline, leaving the Berries at eleventh.
Bankstown City climbed up one place to third when they registered a 2-1 win over Macarthur Rams who tumbled from fifth to eighth and Sydney United went from sixth to fourth with a 3-1 result over twelfth placed Sutherland Sharks.
Marconi Stallions fell from third to fifth when they were beaten 2-0 by Penrith Nepean United who have risen from eighth to sixth and Blacktown City Demons soared from tenth to seventh with a 1-0 victory over Sydney Olympic who dropped back two places to ninth.
Grade 18
Blacktown City Demons took over the reins at the top of the table when they downed fifth placed Sydney Olympic 3-0 and Penrith Nepean United moved into second spot with a 1-0 victory over Marconi Stallions who have fallen from first to third.
A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers held onto fourth position with a 2-1 win over West Sydney Berries who went back one place to eighth while Bankstown City are still sixth after they downed eleventh placed Macarthur Rams 2-0.
Wollongong FC went back one place to ninth when they played out a 2-2 draw with tenth placed Manly United FC and Sydney United jumped up two places to seventh when they defeated last placed Sutherland Sharks 7-0.
Super Youth League
Round 1
The selection trials are long forgotten and the trial matches have all been played. Now it is time for the very serious business of gathering the points for the season. I wish every team the very best of fortune for the campaign and I hope it will be all that you hope for.
Let?s have a look at what happened on the opening day. It is far too early to be bothered about competition tables so I will pay them only scant regard this week.
Club Championship
Schofields Scorpions were the best performed club this week as they bagged ten points from their clash with PCYC Parramatta Eagles who were left with only four points to show for their efforts.
Northern Tigers took eight points from their visit to Granville Rage, Spirit FC bagged eight points at home to Dulwich Hill and Southern NSW grabbed eight points from their trip to Western Panthers.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles and St George split the points at seven apiece while Central Coast Lightning and Sydney Wanderers took five points each from the four games played on the day.
Grade 13
Sydney Wanderers took the earliest of leads on the table when they were 3-0 winners over Central Coast Lightning while PCYC Parramatta Eagles downed Schofields Scorpions by the odd goal in five.
Southern NSW were 2-1 first-up winners over Western Panthers and St George earned a 2-1 victory over Bonnyrigg White Eagles while Spirit FC produced a 1-0 result against Dulwich Hill.
In the other game on the day, Granville Rage and Northern Tigers played out a 1-1 draw.
Grade 14
Bonnyrigg White Eagles have taken the early lead after they handed St George a 7-0 hiding and Northern Tigers came up with a 4-0 win over Granville Rage.
Schofields Scorpions were the next best with a 2-0 victory over PCYC Parramatta Eagles while Central Coast Lightning were 2-1 winners over Sydney Wanderers.
Spirit FC played out a 1-1 draw with Dulwich Hill and that scoreline was repeated when Western Panthers faced Southern NSW.
Grade 15
St George are the leaders this week thanks to their 2-0 win over Bonnyrigg White Eagles while Schofields Scorpions posted a 2-1 result over PCYC Parramatta Eagles.
Northern Tigers downed Granville Rage 1-0, Dulwich Hill defeated Spirit FC 1-0 while Western Panthers and Southern NSW played out a scoreless draw.
The clash between Central Coast Lightning and Sydney Wanderers was not played as the Lightning squad did not produce their ID cards. That matter will be reviewed and decided by Football NSW.
Grade 16
Granville Rage are the leaders at this early stage after they accounted for Northern Tigers with a 4-2 scoreline and Southern NSW were 1-0 winners over Western Panthers.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles and St George battled out a 3-3 draw and that scoreline appeared again at the clash between Schofields Scorpions and PCYC Parramatta Eagles.
Central Coast Lightning drew 1-1 with Sydney Wanderers while Spirit FC and Dulwich Hill played out a scoreless draw.
Grade 18
Spirit FC went to the top of the table with a 3-0 result over Dulwich Hill and Western Panthers claimed the points when they defeated Southern NSW 3-1.
Schofields Scorpions were 1-0 winners over PCYC Parramatta Eagles. Bonnyrigg White Eagles overcame St George with a 2-1 result.
The Central Coast Lightning and Sydney Wanderers clash ended at 2-2 and Granville Rage posted a 1-1 draw with Northern Tigers.

Hurstville City Minotaurs took twelve points from newcomers Hakoah and Sydney University took a dozen points from their visit to Hills United.
Camden Tigers bagged ten points from their home games against Springwood, Gladesville Ryde Magic earned nine points at Mt Druitt Town Rangers and Fraser Park took eight points from Stanmore Hawks.
Grade 13
Sydney University took the competition lead thanks to a 6-0 victory over Hills United while Blacktown Spartans registered a 3-0 win over Rockdale City Suns and Gladesville Ryde Magic downed Mt Druitt Town Rangers by 3-0.
Camden Tigers produced a 2-0 result to defeat Springwood, Hurstville City Minotaurs beat Hakoah 2-1 and the match between Stanmore Hawks and Fraser Park ended in a 1-1 draw.
Grade 14
Fraser Park have taken the early lead thanks to their 7-0 win over Stanmore Hawks and Blacktown Spartans posted a 3-0 result from their match with Rockdale City Suns.
Gladesville Ryde Magic were 3-1 winners when they met Mt Druitt Town Rangers and Hurstville City Minotaurs downed Hakoah 2-0.
Sydney University defeated Hills United by the odd goal in five and Camden Tigers took the points from their 2-1 victory over Springwood.
Grade 15
Fraser Park are the competition leaders at this stage following their 5-0 win over Stanmore Hawks and Sydney University knocked over Hills United with a 3-0 scoreline.
In victories for the newcomers, Springwood came up with 3-0 win over Camden Tigers and Hakoah defeated Hurstville City Minotaurs 2-1.
Mt Druitt Town Rangers produced a 1-0 win over Gladesville Ryde Magic while Rockdale City Suns and Blacktown Spartans played out a 1-1 draw.
Grade 16
Mt Druitt Town Rangers are the early frontrunners after they rolled Gladesville Ryde Magic with a 5-2 result while Blacktown Spartans had a 2-0 win over Rockdale City Suns.
Stanmore Hawks defeated Fraser Park 2-0, Hurstville City Minotaurs were 2-1 winners over Hakoah and Sydney University downed Hills United 1-0.
In the other game played, Camden Tigers and Springwood played oput a 1-1 draw.
Grade 18
Sydney University went straight to the competition lead with a 6-1 win over Hills United and Camden Tigers pulled out a 4-0 result over Springwood.
Blacktown Spartans were 2-1 winners when they faced Rockdale City Suns, Gladesville Ryde Magic defeated Mt Druitt Town Rangers 2-1 and Hurstville City Minotaurs beat Hakoah 1-0.
In the other game played, Stanmore Hawks and Fraser Park battled out a 2-2 draw.
