Both boys were selected as part of the inaugural Sharks Scholarship Foundation; a deal brokered by Sutherland Sharks Football Club General Manager George Hurley.
Both Patrick and Daniel will be training and playing six days a week, in the month of October, with the contracted elite Ipswich Town U18 squad and will have the opportunity to meet new Ipswich Town Manager; former Manchester United star, Roy Keane.
It is an exciting time for the Sutherland Sharks Football Club, with a Sharks Scholarship Trust Fund being drafted to be utilised for younger Sutherland Sharks products with the obvious potential and commitment to receive specialist coaching both in or outside NSW.
This will create a greater emphasis on younger Sharks to reach academy status within the club to progress throughout all levels of the Sutherland based club.
Sutherland Sharks Football Club General Manager George Hurley is elated with the progress of the Sharks Scholarship Foundation and the Sharks Scholarship Trust Fund.
?The Sharks Committee sees a great future for the Sutherland Shire and the Sutherland Sharks.
?The club is looking to have out local talent playing throughout out Academy squads along this pathway into our senior teams.?
