Super Youth League Season Review

DSC_8519

It appears that the clubs are working harder now than ever before to attract the best players they can find and backing that up with some good quality coaching aimed at achieving the dual roles of developing the players and earning the best possible results.
As an example of this, in the finals series nine of the twelve clubs were represented and two of the clubs that missed out had teams that were close enough to challenge for places.
Such development can only be good for the game. It is to be expected that some players from this will be looking for a spot at the higher level for next season and that Premier Youth League clubs will be looking to attract players from this division.
This season I have chosen a slightly different style for presenting this report. Rather than bore you with a wordy commentary, I have provided an outline of the performance of each club or team and followed that with a summary of their position and points and comparisons of the home/away and first/second round results, followed by a rundown on the finals series.
