Overview
When they faced each other last time Marconi Stallions and Sutherland Sharks had shared the spoils at seven points each but this time around the Stallions claimed ten points from the encounter.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles had taken ten points from their first round meeting with South Coast Wolves but this week they were forced to settle for eight points from the return fixture.
Manly United had bagged ten points when they met APIA Leichhardt Tigers in the first round and this week?s matches produced exactly the same outcome.
Last time around Sydney Olympic had pocketed nine points from their matches against Sydney United but the tables turned this week as United claimed nine of the points.
United added six points to their collective tally when they won the two Round 16 catch-up matches against South Coast Wolves.
They first round had produced eleven points for Blacktown City in their clash with Rockdale City Suns. On this occasion Blacktown pocketed all fifteen points from the five matches played.
Parramatta Eagles had grabbed thirteen points from their first round encounter with Bankstown City and this time Parramatta took seven matches from the four matches played.
Grade 13
Marconi Stallions are the competition front runners on goal difference after they were held to a 2-2 draw by sixth placed Sutherland Sharks who the Stallions had beaten 2-1 last time around.
APIA Leichhardt Tigers are in second spot thanks to their 2-0 success over eighth placed Manly United who had lost the first round clash by a 1-0 scoreline.
Bankstown City had suffered a 2-1 loss to Parramatta Eagles when they met in the first round and this week Parramatta completed the double when they produced a 3-2 victory over the Lions. This has left Parramatta at seventh and Bankstown are third.
When they met last time fourth placed Sydney United were 4-2 winners over tenth placed Sydney Olympic and this time United were able complete the double when they were 1-0 winners.
Fifth placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles came up with a solid 4-0 result over twelfth placed South Coast Wolves this week and that gave them the double as they had won 5-0 last time the teams saw each other.
Blacktown City had suffered a 2-1 loss to Rockdale City Suns in their first round encounter but Blacktown turned the tables this week when they produced a 1-0 success.
Grade 14
Marconi Stallions lead the way on the competition table by a single point after they suffered a 1-0 loss to third placed Sutherland Sharks who the Stallions had beaten 3-0 in their first round clash.
Second placed Sydney Olympic had produced a 3-2 first round win over eleventh placed Sydney United and they went on with the job this week when the came up with a strong 5-1 result.
South Coast Wolves had notched up a 6-1 victory last time the saw Bonnyrigg White Eagles but on this occasion the match ended in a scoreless draw, a result that has left the Wolves at fourth and the White Eagles at eighth.
Fifth placed Manly United registered a solid 3-0 result over twelfth placed APIA Leichhardt Tigers who had gone down 5-1 when the teams met in the first round.
This week?s match between Parramatta Eagles and Bankstown City was postponed due to an injury and an announcement will be made shortly.
Rockdale City Suns and Blacktown City had battled out a 1-1 first round draw but Blacktown took all the points this time around when they were 2-0 winners. That places Blacktown at seventh and the Suns at ninth.
Grade 15
Sutherland Sharks are nine points clear at the top of the table following the 2-0 loss to third placed Marconi Stallions who were squaring the ledger after they were beaten 1-0 by the Sharks in the first round.
Second placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles had battled out a 1-1 first round draw with eleventh placed South Coast Wolves but Bonnyrigg claimed all the points this time thanks to a 2-0 victory.
Manly United are fourth following their 1-1 draw with sixth placed APIA Leichhardt Tigers who had suffered a 1-0 loss to Manly when they met last time around.
In a Round 16 catch-up match played mid-week, Manly were 3-0 winners over Rockdale City Suns.
Fifth placed Sydney Olympic were 2-1 winners over eighth placed Sydney United and that squared the account as United had claimed the first round points with a 1-0 scoreline. United had added three points to their tally with a 2-1 victory over Marconi in a Round 13 catch-up match played mid-week.
United posted a 2-1 victory from the Round 16 catch-up match with the Wolves.
Parramatta Eagles are placed seventh following their scoreless draw with ninth placed Bankstown City and that was a similar outcome to that registered in the first round when the teams had fought out a 2-2 draw.
Rockdale City Suns and Blacktown City had battled out a 1-1 draw when they faced each other in the first round but on this occasion all the points went to Blacktown when they were 1-0 winners. That leaves Blacktown at tenth and Rockdale at twelfth.

Blacktown City are in third position after they registered a 2-0 success over twelfth placed Rockdale City Suns and that completes the double for Blacktown as they had won the first round match 2-0.

Third placed Sutherland Sharks had won by the odd goal in five when they met eighth placed Marconi Stallions in the first round but this time the Stallions took the points with a 1-0 result
