Division One Youth League Round 26 Review

Congratulations must go to every team, whether or not they have qualified for the finals, because they have all made a significant contribution to making this season one of the most competitive in memory. 
?The Youth League Report? will report on the finals series and then, in the week after the Grand Finals, we will take a look back on the season on a team-by-team and club-by-club basis.
Club Championship
Mt Druitt Town Rangers have won the Club Championship by a margin of twelve points after pocketed all fifteen points from their encounter with neighbouring Nepean. The Rangers had also secured fifteen points from their first round matches against Nepean.
Second placed Gladesville Ryde Magic earned nine points when they saw fourth placed Stanmore Hawks last time around and Magic added another nine points to their tally from this week?s matches.
St George are placed fifth after four of their matches against eighth placed Hills Brumbies were washed out. The Saints and the Brumbies shared the first round spoils at seven points apiece.
Fourth placed Hakoah earned nine points from their last meeting with sixth placed Camden Tigers but on this occasion the clubs split the points at seven apiece.
Hurstville City Minotaurs are seventh after they shared the spoils at seven apiece with ninth placed Southern NSW. The Minotaurs bagged eight points when they met Southern in the first round
When they met in the first round tenth placed Springwood United and ninth placed Inter Lions took seven points each from the day but on this occasion Springwood bagged nine points from the day.
Thirteenth placed Northbridge claimed twelve points from their first round clash with twelfth placed Balmain East Tigers but it was a different story this time as Balmain made off with nine points from the day.
In midweek catch-up action from Round 22 St George earned ten points from their matches against Camden Tigers, reversing the first round outcome when the Tigers had taken twelve points from the fixture.
The catch-up matches played on Sunday saw Inter Lion take nine points from the five matches they played against Southern NSW while Stanmore Hawks grabbed all six points from the two matches they played against Springwood United.
Grade 13
Southern NSW are the Premiers and they are four points clear at the top of the table after they were 1-0 winners over seventh placed Hurstville City Minotaurs. Southern had also defeated the Minotaurs 1-0 when they played the first round match
Southern produced a 3-0 victory over Inter Lions in a Round 17 catch-up match played on Sunday.
The first round points went to third placed Hakoah when they produced a 2-1 victory over second placed Camden Tigers but this week the Tigers squared the ledger when they came up with a 4-0 victory
In midweek catch-up action from Round 22 St George recorded a 1-0 win over Camden Tigers who had won the first round clash by the same scoreline.
Fourth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers came up with a 2-0 success when they played against ninth placed Nepean in the first round and the Rangers repeated the dose when they won 2-0 this week. 
When they met in the first round fifth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic were 3-0 winners over eleventh placed Stanmore Hawks but this time the teams shared the points when they battled out a scoreless draw.
St George are sixth after their match against eighth placed Hills Brumbies was washed out. The Saints took the first round points with a 3-2 victory over the Brumbies. As the Saints still have a chance of reaching the finals, this match will be played one night this week and that will cause some worries for a couple of teams above them.
In the first round ninth placed Northbridge were 2-1 winners over fourteenth placed Balmain East Tigers and they completed the double with a 1-0 victory on Sunday.
Thirteenth placed Springwood United were beaten 2-0 by twelfth placed Inter Lions when they faced each other last time but this week Springwood took the points with a 1-0 win.
Grade 14
St George are the Premiers by a margin of five points after their match against twelfth placed Hills Brumbies was washed out. The Saints were 3-0 winners last time they faced the Brumbies.
In catch-up action from Round 22 St George came up with a 3-1 result over Camden Tigers and that gave the Saints the double as they had won the first round match 2-0.
Stanmore Hawks finished in second place after they fought out a 1-1 draw with eighth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic. The Hawks fought out a scoreless draw with Magic when they met in the first round
Mt Druitt Town Rangers completed the competition in third place on goal difference following their 3-0 win over thirteenth placed Nepean. The Rangers registered a solid 7-0 victory last time they met
Fifth placed Camden Tigers had produced a 1-0 win over fourth placed Hakoah last time around but this time Hakoah took the points when they were 2-1 winners.
Tenth placed Northbridge claimed the first round points with a 2-1 result over sixth placed Balmain East Tigers but the ledger was squared this time when Balmain posted a 3-0 result.
Fourteenth placed Springwood United went down 1-0 in their first round clash with seventh placed Inter Lions and history repeated when the Lions took the points once again with a 1-0 scoreline.
In a Round 17 catch-up match played on Sunday Inter Lions came up with a 1-0 victory over Southern NSW.
Eleventh placed Hurstville City Minotaurs had claimed the first round points from ninth placed Southern NSW with a 1-0 scoreline but this time the teams shared the points when their match ended at 3-3.
Grade 15
Mt Druitt Town Rangers had claimed the Premiership a few weeks ago and they finished the competition undefeated and seventeen points clear of their nearest rivals after they were 4-0 winners over Nepean. In their first round encounter the Rangers took the points with a 6-0 result.  
Southern NSW finished in second spot after they posted a 3-1 success over fifth placed fifth placed Hurstville City Minotaurs. The Minotaurs battled out a 2-2 draw with Southern when they met last time.
In a Round 17 catch-up match Inter Lions came up with a 1-0 success over Southern NSW.
Stanmore Hawks ended up in third position following their 1-0 loss to fourth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic who had claimed the first round points with a 2-1 success.
With a win by the odd goal in five, eighth placed Northbridge took the first round points from fifth placed Balmain East Tigers with a 3-2 result but this time Balmain produced a 2-1 result to square the account.
The first round points went to seventh placed Hakoah thanks to their 2-1 win over tenth placed Camden Tigers but this time around the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Ninth placed St George suffered a 3-0 loss when they faced twelfth placed Hills Brumbies in the first round. This week?s return match was washed out.

Eleventh placed Springwood United registered a 3-1 victory in their first round match against thirteenth placed Inter Lions and the mountain men went on with the job as they posted a 1-0 result this week.
Grade 16
Gladesville Ryde Magic are the Premiers after they registered a 4-0 win over fourth placed Stanmore Hawks. The first round match ended with the scores locked at 1-1.
In a Round 16 catch-up match the Hawks accounted for Springwood with a 2-0 scoreline.
Second placed Hakoah took the first round points with a 3-0 victory over seventh placed Camden Tigers and they completed the double with a 3-1 result this week.
In catch-up action from Round 22 Camden Tigers were 1-0 winners over St George and that gave the Tigers the double as they won the first round game 2-0.
Third placed Hurstville City Minotaurs bagged the first round points with a 4-0 result over twelfth placed Southern NSW and the Minotaurs completed the double with a 4-0 result this time.
Springwood United are fifth following their 1-0 win over eighth placed Inter Lions. The teams had played out a 1-1 draw when they met last time.
In their first round match sixth placed St George fought it out with ninth placed Hills Brumbies for a scoreless draw but this week?s return match was washed out.
Fourteenth placed Nepean suffered a 3-0 loss when they met tenth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers in the first round and the Rangers completed the double when they won 3-1 this week.
Eleventh placed Balmain East Tigers grabbed the points last time they saw thirteenth placed Northbridge thanks to a 3-2 scoreline and Balmain went on with it this week when they won 2-0.
Grade 18
Gladesville Ryde Magic are the Premiers after they were held to a 1-1 draw by fourth placed Stanmore Hawks. The teams had also fought out a 1-1 first round draw.
In a Round 16 catch-up match the Hawks came up with a 1-0 result when they faced Springwood.
The first round points went to second placed Camden Tigers thanks to their 1-0 win over eighth placed Hakoah and this time the Tigers collected the points again with a 3-0 result.
In catch-up action from Round 22 St George and Camden Tigers fought it out for a 2-2 draw after the Tigers had claimed the first round points with an 8-2 result.
Third placed Hills Brumbies produced a 5-3 win when the faced fifth placed St George last time and then they produced a 4-3 victory over the Saints on Saturday.
Sixth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers shaded tenth placed Nepean with a 2-1 result when they played last time and the Rangers went on with the job as they registered a 3-2 result on Saturday.
Seventh placed Hurstville City Minotaurs and fourteenth placed Southern NSW had battled out a 2-2 draw when they met in the first round but this time the Minotaurs took all the points when they won 5-1.
Springwood United are ninth and they had claimed the first round points when they were 2-1 winners over twelfth placed Inter Lions. This week the Lions squared the ledger when they produced a 3-1 victory.
Eleventh placed Northbridge posted a 4-1 first round victory over thirteenth placed Balmain East Tigers and Northbridge went on with the job this week when they registered a solid 7-1 result.
