The Georges Hall resident is currently enrolled in the SAP South squad and is playing up two age groups in the Under 11 and 12?s squad coached respectively by Marko Filipovic and Devrim Huseyin and is enjoying every minute of it.
?I really like the training sessions our coaches put on for us especially because it involves a lot of ball and skill work.
?I love playing football and I enjoy being part of the SAP program where I can learn and train more.?
Training three times a week with the SAP South side, young George is hoping that he can emulate the success of his older brother, Sydney FC?s golden boy Terry.
?It?s good having Terry with me as we train together when he isn?t training with Sydney FC.
?He always gives me advice but I think I?m better than him,? he smiled while giving the interview alongside his proud father Peter.
The Arsenal and Neymar fan first put on the boots for the South West Strikers based in the Bankstown Association as a five-year-old playing in the Under 6?s and he?s love affair for football grew from there.
He is also involved with the futsal setup and is playing with the Inner West Magic in the Under 11?s.
?Any chance I get in playing, whether it is indoor or outdoor, I do it.?
Terry was delighted to see that his younger sibling was enjoying the round ball game.
?He is very committed to training and is always willing to learn more.
?He?s enjoying his football very much so and I will help him as much as I can along the way.
?We?ve been kicking a ball around for as long as I can remember so seeing him progress will be fantastic and programs such as the SAP can do just that for him.?
Both boys have been well trained in their early stages of development  by their father Peter as well as grandfather Terry who first showed them a football ? their love affair with the game has grown since and from the looks of things the relationship will be long term.
Along with both boys Terry and George, there?s also their 12-year-old sister Dimity who is also creating headlines in the girls game as she was recently selected in the Under 12 NSW Girls Indoor squad.
?I am proud of all my kids and I hope that they can live their dreams.
?My wife and I will be there helping and guiding them along their way ? we just want them to do what makes them happy,? father Peter stated to Football NSW.
