The Manly Warringah Football Referes Association will run two entry courses ? one for juniors and one for seniors ? and an additional advanced course before the 2013 season kicks off.

The Manly Warringah Football Referees Association (MWFRA) will run its entry-level course for juniors at Cromer Park on 17th February, 2013 and its entry-level course for seniors at Cromer Park on 3rd March, 2013. The entry level is what is known as the Football Federation Australia Level 4 Junior Referee Accreditation.
Note that the word ?junior? in the accreditation level does not limit seniors to refereeing junior matches. It is simply the official name of the FFA Course and is used for accuracy and consistency. You must be at least 13 years of age on 31st December, 2012 to sit the FFA Level 4 Junior Referee course in 2013.
The MWFRA will run an advanced-level course at Cromer Park on 16th March, 2013. The MWFRA has chosen the FFA Level 3 Adult Referee course date for two reasons; to enable interested parties to undertake the course before the 2013 season gets under way and to not clash with the Manly Warringah Football Association Cup games scheduled for the following day. Newly qualified referees will not be able to sit the advanced-level course before gaining significant refereeing experience and, also, a minimum age of 16 years applies.
The MWFRA Course Coordinator is Steve Smit. Steve is accepting expressions of interest for all announced courses via email to trainer@mwfra.com.au . It is important to include your full name, date of birth and contact details in your email to Steve.
For those applying for entry-level courses, be aware that they are likely to be capped at 50 people and will be allocated on the first come, first served basis. Steve will answer any course-related questioned to his MWFRA inbox as quickly as he can.
