Sutherland Shire FA season ready to launch for 2014
The Sutherland Shire Football Association (SSFA) will launch the 2014 football season on Sunday 23rd March featuring the first round of the Amateur League 1 (AL 1) and Senior Women A (SW A) competitions.
The day will feature eight high quality games at two locations as the best club teams in the Shire will compete for honours in arguably the most competitive grassroots football league in Australia.
The Sutherland Shire Football Association is the largest grassroots sporting association of any code in Australia with over 17,000 registered players this season.
In a year which will see Australia play Spain and Holland in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and with the continued success of the A-League in Sydney, our grassroots football is a great and accessible spectacle for football followers throughout the Shire.
