Football NSW has donated over 2000 items of footballing equipment to the Kick for Africa charity, months after donating its first batch in April this year.

Sian Davies, Founder of the Kick for Africa charity, met with Football NSW CEO Eddie Moore on Tuesday where she thanked the organisation for their heart-warming donations.

“I can tell you that the first lot of donations given by Football NSW earlier in the year were very well received by the hundreds of children as well as men and women who love this game.

“The look on all their eyes when they received footballs, football kits and more was priceless.

“To borrow Kick for Africa’s slogan, Football NSW shared the love and will most definitely create a lot more smiles with this new equipment to be given shortly.”

Football NSW was pleased to be able to directly assist Kick for Africa with Football NSW CEO Eddie Moore praising the hard work and efforts the charity has gone through in getting this promoted.

“The Kick for Africa charity have done a tremendous job in assisting with this special cause.

“I want to say a big thank you to all the clubs, associations and referee branches and individuals who donated specific equipment in making this happen.

"It’s great to see the football community come together to support such a great cause.

“It’s humbling to know that our small efforts of kindness can have such a profound effect upon someone halfway around the world."
