Valentine Sports Park recently played host to a two-day Coaching Development seminar as nine Member Federations attended what was an insightful Conference.

It was a well-attended event that featured a number of Australia’s leading coaching and development managers with a number of topics and learnings that were promoted throughout the two-day seminar.

FFA Community Coach Development Manager Les Bee described the event as a success.

“The two-day seminar was very productive, reinforcing the collaborative approach of coach development staff that will help in providing enjoyable, quality experiences for players throughout the football community.

"The sharing of initiatives focussing on building the capacity of our coach development networks will further enhance the ongoing support of community coaches and build capacity for the future."

Football South Australia’s John Mundy reaffirmed Bee’s comments as well as acknowledging the fantastic facilities that were on hand at Football NSW’s headquarters in Glenwood.

"Football NSW needs to congratulated for their hosting of the FFA’s CCDM workshop.

“Their venue and facilities are second to none and the great thing about this place is that there are no distractions its all about football, which adds to our personal development.

“Oscar Gonzalez was always on hand to ensure that things ran smoothly, which of course they did.”
