Call for Candidates for the Football NSW Legal & Regulatory Board Sub-committee

Football NSW is calling for candidates to fill up to two positions on the Football NSW Legal & Regulatory Board Sub-committee.
Candidates must be currently admitted or recently retired legal practitioners who have practiced for at least ten years.
The role of the Legal & Regulatory Committee (Committee) is to report to the Board and provide appropriate advice and recommendations on matters arising with respect to FNSW’s compliance with legal, governance and regulatory requirements and such other matters as may be directed by the Board or the Committee’s Charter.
The Committee works closely with FNSW Legal Counsel whose role is to oversee all legal, governance and regulatory matters across FNSW and its members.  Generally, the FNSW Legal Department oversees the following areas:

·         Legal & Governance;

·         Risk Management & Member Protection;

·         Insurance; and

·         Grievance & Disciplinary.
