English Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspurs might be making headlines in Melbourne with the International Champions Cup, but it was Football NSW having a presence in Tottenham, NSW that was having an impact this week.

Football NSW’s Regional Coach and Development Manager Andrew Fearnley was in Tottenham on Wednesday and Thursday to provide sessions for players registered with the Tottenham Football Club, and also providing sessions for the students at the Tottenham Central School with all the students from the school being involved throughout the day.

In addition, Andrew visited the Warren Football Club assisting both players and coaches from the club.

Both Tottenham FC and Warren FC will be involved in the Warren Gala Day this coming Saturday.

Fearnley was happy with the involvement and the promotion Football received in the Tottenham and Warren areas.

"It was great being able to work with so many players across Tottenham and Warren.

“The players were really receptive, keen and willing to be involved.

“The coaches were great also, hopefully we have been able to give them some more ideas for their future sessions also.”

The recent wet weather had postponed previous visits but this week with improved weather the sessions were able to go ahead.
