Granville District Soccer Football Association side Kellyville Kolts Soccer Club recently hosted a hugely successful and wonderful MiniRoos Gala Day for participants aged 11 and 12 last Sunday at Bernie Mullane Sporting Complex, Kellyville.

The day involved both girls and boys from a range of clubs within GDSFA.

Director of MiniRoos Graeme Carrett was in attendance and was ecstatic on how the day unfolded and was appreciative of the efforts all volunteers put forward in making the Gala Day such a success.

Football NSW Development Officers had the MiniRoos shooting target out for the day, handing out prizes to players on the day.

Kellyville Kolts Club President Hany Matta was delighted with what the Gala Day produced.

“It was a great success and it was appreciated by all participants.

“We had just under 200 players participating in the Gala Day and the players were professional ?in the game ?and behaviour.

“I would especially like to thank the players, parents and guardians for attending the Gala Day and for all their support.

“We would also like to thank our Association for their support over the years.?

Matta signalled out local clubman Keith Westley for his amazing efforts with the Kolts club.

“A special thank you to a dedicated committee member of Kellyville Kolts, ?Keith Westley who not only helped out last Sunday but has always been there to setup and do the line marking of the fields every weekend without fail.

“Keith has been a part of our club for over 15 years and I look forward to working with him in the future.

“I would also like to thank Peter Belcastro, Dee Jonsson, Martin O’Hare and Glenn Kelly for helping throughout the Gala Day.

“We look forward to a great future in Football with Football NSW.”
