Far South Coast Football Association’s clean sweep

It was a memorable Southern Representative Championships for the Far South Coast Football Association as they made history by winning every age group from juniors right through to the Open age groups held in Moruya recently.

Far South Coast Football Technical Director and Open Men’s coach Ray Hale was beaming with joy after the club took out such a wonderful achievement.

“Every Far South Coast representative team from the Under 12s right through to Ladies and Men’s took out the Southern Rep Championship,” he told the Bega District News.

“It is the first time in the history of football on the Far South Coast and this means we have a great base of coaches and players developing for the future, but this was a truly magnificent feat ball this year.”
