Dubbo’s Sportsworld Centre was the location as Football NSW were in attendance for the Multi-Sports Gala Day for students with disabilities held last Wednesday.
In conjunction with the Department of Education, Football NSW’s Western Regional Coach and Development Manager Andrew Fearnley ran a special clinic for over 100 students from a variety of schools within the Western NSW area.
These schools included students from Dubbo College, Dubbo South Public School, Wellington Public School, Narromine Public School, Tottenham Central School, Gilgandra High School and Orana Heights Public School all who took part enjoying small sided matches as well as fine tuning their football skills.
The aim of the day was to provide the students with a fun environment across varying sports with football at the forefront of inclusion and providing an opportunity for students to learn skills and enjoying the Beautiful Game.
